Update (9 September 2026): TGPRB has extended the application deadline to 16 September 2026 (5 PM), giving candidates one more week beyond the original 9 September closing date. Over 3.38 lakh candidates have registered so far, with more than 2.88 lakh having paid the fee and completed Aadhaar verification. The board has cautioned candidates not to wait until the last moment, citing possible technical glitches.

This is against the detailed recruitment notification issued on 29 July 2026 for 7,437 vacancies across the Police, Fire & Emergency, Prisons and Special Protection Force departments.

Selection process: Preliminary Written Test → Physical Measurement & Physical Efficiency Tests (PMT & PET) → Final Written Test → Medical Examination.
